Expert Gardener Black Mission Fig Live Shrub in Grower Pot

Bring home a Black Mission fig plant that is self-fertile and can produce fruit twice a year, in early spring and fall. One plant can produce fruit on its own, making it a simple choice for home gardens and patio spaces. It is also a good fit for container growing, especially in colder areas where you may want to move it indoors during colder months. This live plant is grown for outdoor use and needs little routine care. Water when dry, and give it a spot with the right light to help it thrive.

• Grows in USDA zones 7-9 with full sun to part shade.
• Mature size is 15-30 ft wide and 10-30 ft high. It is deciduous, so it loses foliage in winter and puts on new growth in spring.
• Suitable for landscapes, gardens, accents, and containers. Water before planting, loosen the root ball lightly, and water thoroughly after planting.
• Ships dormant from winter through early spring and may be trimmed to support plant health.
• Average shipping height is 10-14 in. Fruit is not guaranteed upon arrival.
