Bring classic spring color to a partly shaded garden with these Bleeding Heart Pink dormant bare roots from Expert Gardener. This perennial set includes 2 roots and is designed for outdoor planting in spring after the danger of frost has passed. Pink, heart-shaped blooms brighten the garden, while the 36 in mature height helps add graceful vertical interest. Plant in rich, porous soil that drains well but still holds enough moisture for the roots. If soil is heavy clay or very sandy, add organic amendments such as peat moss or ground bark. After the foliage has fully yellowed and died back, remove it and divide the plant every two to three years as part of routine care.
- Set includes 2 dormant bare roots for outdoor planting.
- Flowers in late spring into early summer with pink blooms on long, arching stems.
- Works well in containers, garden beds, and borders, and cut stems can also be used for floral or pressed-flower displays.
- Suitable for USDA hardiness zones 3 through 9.
- Water when dry and grow in a Partial Sun location.
