First Editions Crimson Fire Dwarf Loropetalum Live Shrub in 3-Gallon Grower Pot

First Editions Crimson Fire dwarf loropetalum is a live evergreen shrub grown in a 3 gallon pot for outdoor landscapes. This compact, mounding plant brings strong color to the garden with purple to deep burgundy foliage and fuchsia-pink fringed blooms in spring. Its smaller size works well where you want lasting foliage color without a large footprint, including borders, hedges, and specimen placement. It is suited for USDA zones 7-9 and adds a bold look to sunny garden spaces. For planting, dig a hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil with your native soil. Set the top of the root ball 1/2 in above ground level when filling the hole, then use a slow-release granular fertilizer in spring. Blooms are seasonal and may not be present when the plant is purchased.
