This pampas grass is a live outdoor ornamental grass made for larger landscape spaces. It grows into a bold specimen planting with tall white plumes and a mature size of 8-12 ft high and 4-6 ft wide. Use it to add height, texture, and privacy in the garden or landscape. Plant in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. When planting, dig a hole twice as wide as the pot and set the top of the root ball 1/2 in above ground level. Cut it back to the ground in late winter, and feed with a slow-release granular fertilizer in spring.
- USDA Zones 7-11 for warm to mild climates.
- Water twice a week until established, then weekly. Water more often in extreme heat.
- Low-maintenance live plant in a grower pot for outdoor gardens, landscapes, or patio containers.
