Island Blooms 16" Ixora Live Outdoor Plant in 6" Grower Pot (2 Count)

Ixora Taiwanese, is a compact tropical shrub admired for its vibrant clusters of star-shaped flowers, typically in shades of red, orange, yellow, pink, or white. Its glossy, dark green foliage provides a lush backdrop, making it a standout addition to gardens, borders, or containers. To ensure optimal growth, plant the Taiwanese Ixora in well-draining, slightly acidic soil rich in organic matter. Position it in a location that receives full sunlight for maximum flower production; however, it can tolerate partial shade, though this may result in fewer blooms. Maintain consistent soil moisture without allowing it to become waterlogged, as the plant prefers evenly moist conditions. Pruning is generally minimal; however, trimming back overgrown or leggy branches in early spring can help maintain a compact shape and encourage denser foliage. Regular feeding with an acidic fertilizer will support vigorous growth and abundant blooms.
