This product features circular O-rings, round in cross-section, suitable for a wide temperature range from -30 degrees F (-34 degrees C) to 250 degrees F (121 degrees C). Made of black nitrile rubber, these O-rings offer good mechanical properties compared to other elastomers and high wear resistance. They are resistant to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, and mineral oils. Designed for various sealing applications, they provide pressure and fluid seals in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and cylinders. However, nitrile rubber is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering, and should not be used in ozone-generating electric motors or applications with light exposure.
